CNC Wire Cut EDM
Precision punches, die plates and inserts cut in-house, the foundation of every accurate tool we build.
Accurate tools start with accurate components. Our Vasai East tool room uses CNC wire cut EDM to produce the hardened parts that decide how a press tool performs: cutting clearance, burr height and tool life.
What we cut
- Punches and punch profiles
- Die plates and die inserts
- Stripper plates and guides
- Replacement components for tool repair
- Complex 2D profiles in hardened tool steel
Why it matters for your parts
Burrs, dimensional drift and short tool life usually come from punch-to-die clearance that is wrong or uneven. Wire cut EDM lets us hold that clearance accurately around the whole profile. It is one reason we can meet tight burr limits on electrical terminals. Read more in Controlling Burrs in High Speed Stamping.
Faster repairs
Because wire cut is in-house, a broken punch or worn insert can be remade quickly instead of waiting on an outside vendor. This keeps die maintenance turnaround short.
